Voyage to Parvati Valley

Re-engage with your lost purity before this broken society tries to train you to value objects and cash over the joy of living. Never sacrifice your quality of life in the mob of earning big fat income. Do whatsoever makes you feel happy and alive, visit places which help you rejuvenate.

For me it's the Himalayas, Let me introduce you to the land of the Meadows, Beautiful scenic mountains and awesome people's - Parvati Valley located in the Himachal Pradesh state of India.

The long-time awaited journey
Post rescheduling my plans several times I was finally all set to depart for Parvati Valley on the 2nd weekend of July'19 which was the rainy season for the Himalayas.

Parvati Valley comprises of popular spots like Kasol (Popularly known as Mini Israel), Kheerganga Trek, Tosh, Malana, Wiachin Valley, Magic Valley and much more.

It was quite a long 11 hours bus journey from my home town Delhi to Kasol, though it wasn't hectic as the coach was quite comfortable. I thought of taking rest post reaching my camp but I couldn't control myself in covered Swiss tent as the panoramic view of the valley was quite stunning.

Hence I start heading towards Kasol town market and accidentally landed on the way towards Challal Trek, Though distance of trek wasn't much longer, the landscape was quite impressive. It was a narrow passage located on the edge of Parvati River and pleasant drizzling weather added wings to the hiking.

My campsite itself was located on the bank of Parvati River in dense forest which requires hiking of 500 meters to reach site wherein I spent rest of the evening on top of TreeHouse along with some coffee and snacks.

Naah it wasn't enough, Ye Dil mange more ðŸ˜‰ - It was time to gain more altitude
My friends who were supposed to meet me at 10 am came at 2 pm ðŸ˜–
Hence plan got a bit delayed but we still manage to climb on Tosh Village wherein another picturesque view of mother nature was waiting for us with loads of surprises.

View of the valley from our room's balcony already amazed us while rainfall added more fun along with the glimpse of rainbow in-between mountains.

The Trekking Day
Yup it was raining but we still decided to hike towards Magic Valley but fortune had decided something else (Jana tha Japan pahuch gaye Chin samjh gaye na ). We accidentally took a wrong turn and reached Wiachin Valley though it proved to be a fruitful curve as we got amazed by the landscape of the valley, Though the trek was full of multiple obstacles and slippery mud due to intense rainfall but as said No Pain No Gain hence the picturistic landscape and weather at valley rejuvenated our soul.

The Last Hurrah
It is always difficult to say goodbye to the good times but it's not practically possible to stay in a dreamy world for a long time though this trip was undoubtedly the one to remember. Hence I picked up my backpack and started heading towards Kasol bus station to catch coach bound for my hometown towards NCT Delhi.

Travel is like watching a dream, once a trip is over you wake up to face day to day life activities.
Never put off expressing your desires, Your days on this planet are numbered and with the passage of time you grow old. Most of us postpone our dream vacations until we become too old to fully enjoy it.

Idle weather to visit Parvati Valley is April - June followed by September - October.

Expected damage to your pocket.
