Ride to the end of clouds

Ride to the end of clouds

That was one of the weekend of july'17. We suddenly decided to visit clouds end (Few kms Above Mussorie).
Our bags were packed for destination undefined and suddenly one of my friend suggested me about clouds end - a small virgin hill station near Mussorie, he advise me at 8pm and post reading the reviews on TripAdvisor I immediately finalize the venue by 8:30pm.
Day 1 - I met my friends at Aksharsham setu, Delhi at 7am. We were 4 buddies on 2 twoos (Bikes). We departed from delhi with limited luggage since that was a Bike trip and both bikes had pillions.
We took first halt at Modi Shikaji, Modi Nagar for our Breakfast, There we enjoyed mouth watering pakodas, bhature and world famous modi shikanji. Then we start heading towards our next halt Har Ki Paudi, Haridwar.
Then post crossing crowded streets of Haridwar we reached Har ki Paudi by evening, multiple stops due to breakdowns and crowd because of kawad yatra spoil most of our time at streets, then we enjoyed bath at har ki Paudi and start heading towards Dehradun.
Dark was about to approach along with rainfall, Clouds started crying and Moon light was about to appear, the moment we step on first curve of hill towards Mussorie.
We first decided to take halt in dehradun after considering weather condition and terrains but we suddenly realize that we are on adventure trip so how can we stick with comfort zone, hence 3 out of 4 of us decided to proceed towards Mussorie in heavy rainfall in the dark that too in hills, our 4th friend was left with no option rather than joining us lol
We met heavy landslide enroute, traffic was blocked for around 1km on both sides of landslide but since we were on bikes hence we manage to cross landslide zone.
Rainfall was not ready to stop and it's pace was also Increased hence we decided to take halt at a guest house 10 kms prior to Mussorie.
Day 2 - We wore our wet cloths again, post Breakfast we start heading towards Mussorie, there we bought necessary items for camping along with sight seeing visit at mall road, Mussorie.
We reached our most awaited venue clouds end by evening, we installed our camps on the peak of mountain. We arranged woods for barbeque. And you know what it started raining again. We waited and waited in our tents but rainfall never stopped till morning and that was the actual fun since managing with limited sources is the real adventure. We haven't even carried sleeping mats or bed sheet with us but nature doesn't give intimation before changing the weather.
That was least expected that we need to carry sleeping bag in the month of July. But luckily we were carrying some remedy to give heat and that drinking medicine provided heat in our body and allow us to spend that night on the top of mountain in the tent. Party was on its peak and the most interesting part of that party was the venue and the weather. We enjoyed entire night in the lap of nature. That was a kind of experience which is something very hard to describe in words.
Day 3 - We were all set to go back to home with bunch of memories.
